In 2014, in partnership with the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Nigeria we organized an awareness campaign to raise awareness on the numbers of missing, exploited and abused children and how we can help stem this tide. In 2019, we organized a virtual prayer event for all missing children and persons.

On Safe and Clean Water

Thousands of children and fragile seniors die each year from waterborne diseases. These deaths are mostly preventable. Fountains of Compassion is working hard to alleviate this problem in local communities abandoned by the government. We have provided a sustainable water supply in the Nsadop and Effigbo communities of Boki Local Government Area, CRS. The last of these two projects were completed and opened for use in August 2021. Efforts are in place to expand our water project to several communities. Please consider supporting this effort and save lives.

Completed Projects

Empowerment Through Education.

FOUNTAINS OF COMPASSION completed another educational empowerment project in March 2021. We believe that educating our young should be a privilege for a select few but the right of every child. Rev. Fr. Philip Paul Tah released over N2.5 Million ($5,300) in support of our Educate our Children Fund. This year 2021, 55 students who could not afford their registration in the West African Examination Council (WAEC) got registered for their upcoming exams. With the expiration of registration closing in, most of these students were at risk of losing out. Beneficiaries came from six Secondary Schools in Boki and Ikom Local Government Areas. The Schools include:

1. COMMUNITY SECONDARY SCHOOL NSADOP, BOKI. – Five Students

2. GOVERNMENT SECONDARY SCHOOLS BANSAN-OSOKOM, BOKI – Ten Students

3. COMMUNITY SECONDARY SCHOOL BOJE, BOKI – Ten Students

4. COMMUNITY SECONDARY SCHOOL ISO-BENDEGHE, BOKI – Ten Students

5. SECONDARY COMMERCIAL SCHOOL KAKWAGOM, BOKI. Fifteen Students

6. SAINT JOSEPH SCHOOL ATIMAKA, IKOM. – Five Students.

May God bless Fountains of Compassion and the friends that continue to partner and support our efforts at empowering and equipping our young people to face the future with greater prospects. Below are some photos of the students and their principals. All thanks to Rev.Fr. Philip Tah.
